Why are we like this?

Why is it, that every time something bad happens?
e.g. The car bombing, or shooting in Norway.

Everyone and their brother is up in arms about this.
Whereas, it happens in countless other countries on a daily basis… and no one gives 2 fucks.

Why? Because it happens daily.
If it was a rare occurrence, people would lose their shit.


But my question is, wouldn’t it make more sense to be more aware of the daily bombings as opposed to occasional?

I’m not saying one is worse than the other.
Any time human lives are put in harms way is a bad time.
Conversely, there will always be one random crazy person who will go off and blow shit up, or shoot people.
That’s not something you can plan for.

But when shit happens daily… you KNOW it’s going to happen again and again, all over the country… that IS something you can plan for.
So why not put effort into focusing on this stuff and trying to put an end to it?
