What a stupid question.

One question I absolutely hate is “Is it good?”

Not matter what someone is asking about.
“Is it good?” is one of the worst questions to ask. It’s far too vague a question to be properly answered.

I was having a discussion with someone about reading, and the book I was currently reading.
This person asked “Is it good?”.
WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT?
In order for me to properly answer that, I would have to know what constitutes as ‘good’ in your mind. Obviously I personally think it’s good or I’d not be wasting my time with it.
I can’t promise that my definition of ‘good’ will coincide with yours, meaning if I say something is good, you may read, look at, listen to, etc. that same thing, and tell me it’s a waste of *insert objects material composition*.

For future reference… don’t ask me if something is good.
