I know a large portion of people that are of legal age to vote, but aren’t informed enough to make a proper decision when it comes to voting.
Oddly enough, I know kids who aren’t old enough to vote…. but know a fair share about politics.
It’s sad to see people who would make informed voting choices…. but aren’t able to.
They should have mandatory tests so as to make sure voters are knowledgeable enough to make a proper choice when it comes to voting.

Where did this sudden rise of apathy come from?
I’ve noticed that a lot of todays youth are apathetic towards world issues.
Genocide, famine, etc.
Now, I know there are a lot of kids who DO care, but a majority don’t.
Why does no one care?
We’re so easily entertained by shows about people eating the worlds biggest hamburger, or shows about teens being pregnant, or alcoholics living together, causing drama with each other.
Why do these kids not watch the news once in a while.
Get informed, fucking do something about the problems.
I mean sure, I’m not the best representative for “getting out and changing things” but if I had the resources and opportunities, I’d do it.
But even if they don’t DO anything, why not at least get informed, get some knowledge about the topics?
