Does it really make a difference?

Ok, so there is a group on failbook called 'I heard that song before anyone else'
Or something along those lines.

The title in and of itself is arguable.
It is technically not possible to hear a song before anyone else
unless you bought the very first record, straight out of the recording studio.
And even then everyone in the recording studio has heard it, thus preventing you from being the very first person.

Second of all, what fucking difference does it make, honestly?
No one is going to say "oh you heard that song first, I'm sorry, I'll stop listening to it, because you fucking own it" or some shit like that.

I know I've done a rant about music before, but I had to rant about it again.

Why the fuck do people put so much effort into proving they heard a song/band first, or know more about music or genres than someone else.

What fucking difference does it make!?
I've said it before and I'll say it a thousand times.
Music is made to be enjoyed, don't fucking turn it into a competition!

That's my rant. Enjoy.
