A while ago, I realized that 90% of swear words originated from words that were pretty harmless.
Most of which have the same amount of letters (or close to)
For instance, shit and poop mean the same thing.
Both can be verbs, or nouns.
Both have 4 letters.
Yet one has been deemed socially unacceptable.
Unforunately, I have no explanation for this, but I really wish I did.
It bothers me that just because certain people randomly decide that certain words are “bad” means they become socially unacceptable.
I mean, I understand people have used it in ways it wasn’t intended to be used before, which adds to the whole “it’s a bad word” thing, but still.

You're on facebook? I can no longer trust you.
Why is that whenever you're dating someone, or even like someone, they usually go to facebook, to see what you're up to, and make sure you're not cheating.
Not to mention, when you talk to other people, most times, the person you're involved with automatically assume you're cheating.
How did things end up like this?
Yeah, the internet has changed times, and people have broken trust, but why has it made people so edgy and mistrustful in general?

I'm on cloud 9.
So today, I saw this commercial (which I will link later in this rant) for windows™ 7 Cloud.
The thing I have to rant about is why does her family picture have to look so perfect, merely to be put on the internet?
I mean... Why not show everyone what your family is REALLY like?
Are people so embarrassed by their families that they have to make everyone think their family is perfect?
If you take family portraits, frame them, and hang them in your house, that's one thing.
But to take pictures, and put them on the internet... why do they have to be so perfect?
Are you not supposed to be proud of your family regardless of how they act?
Just because 1 picture shows your kids acting up, doesn't mean that's how they are in person.
Not to mention, even if they do act up in person, who cares?

"facebook official"
Why does everything now days have to be "facebook official"?
If you're dating someone, you have to chance your relationship status.
Apparently 'unfriending' someone on facebook is spiteful.
Also, I heard 2 females conversing over coffee the other day.
I'm not one to listen in, but I happened to overhear the conversation, and quickly realized it was about facebook and what not.
which made me realize that relationships now days have more to do with facebook, than the people in them.
Also, kids these days rarely let their girlfriends/boyfriends use facebook out of fear of cheating and stuff.
Why is that?
The internet was just as much a gift as a curse.
Yeah, it teaches us things (sometimes) but it also turns people into pansies, instead of trusting the person their with.
It causes unnecessary drama, and turns people into arrogant, backpedaling, ignorant, immature, human beings.
Ever since the creation of the internet, the world has slowly been dumbed down to believe what they read on a particular website, or from a certain webcaster.

OMG, 1'm $uc|-| @ |\|3R|)!!!!
"oh bro, link is the best hero ever!"
"who the fuck is link, his name is zelda!"
That's how almost every conversation starts when you talk to kids who claim to be nerdy gamer kids.
This rant is going to be short, I'm far too riled up and pissed off to type.
But I hate kids who play a game (such as zelda), don't even play the whole game, and then proceed to go out and buy every piece of zelda merchandise available.
Or kids who claim to know everything about superheroes and when you get into a conversation about them, the person you're talking to knows nothing
"Oh man, I love christopher reeve"
" was he the guy in the matrix?"
But anywho.... I'll end this rant here.

I didn't sleep last night, I think I have insomnia!
Why is it that every kid now days claims to have a disorder after 1 day of showing symptoms.
As if to say they WANT to have one?
Is it cool to have a disorder?
Are kids who are smart and don't claim such bullshit looked down upon?
"I didn't sleep last night, but it had nothing to do with the fact that my friend just died, I think I have insomnia!"
"I just organized my desk, I have OCD"
The thing that pisses me off the most is when kids say this and they're actually believed, whereas when people like me who actually fucking have these problems, say they have them, everyone gets as mad as I am, and claims that I'm just saying it for attention.
I've had mild OCD for.. 2 years now, and I've had insomnia since I was in grade 7, which is like...... 5+ years.
However, my insomnia has only gotten worse.
But honestly, I know some kids do it so they can get drugs, but what about the kids who get Nothing more than sympathy from it?
Do you honestly have to sink that low to get someone to feel sorry for you?
Does it make you feel good to have someone feel sorry for you?

It's like OCD, for health food junkies.
To start off this rant, I'm going to link you guys to an article, so you're informed.
http://www.naturalnews.com/029098_orthorexia_mental_disorder.html
Now that you're all caught up, here goes nothing.
Ok, let's look at this from both perspectives.
I understand that it can be a mental disorder because people go to extremes to eat healthy, cutting out ANY kind of fat, anything that can be converted into fat, etc.
But what I don't understand is why it's a mental disorder.
So you want to live to see your grandkids, is that such a problem?
"what's that, you don't want to have heart problems, and die by the time you're 40? you must be off your rocker!"
Why is everything now days considered a disorder.
"I like to be clean, and shower once a day, as well as wash my hands before meals & after using the rest room, I have a disorder!"
"I like to be organized, and know where shit is when I need it, I have a disorder!"
p.s. Yes, I know the last rant, and this next one will all be kind of linked in a way, but that wasn't on purpose

I'll race you to the syhpilis!?
Have you ever noticed how everything now days is a competition?
Who has the most/weirdest disorders, who has heard a song/band before anyone else, who has had to put up with more shit throughout their lives?
I know I've done a similar rant before, but I felt this was necessary.
Why do people care so much about these things.
When you die, you don't get a fucking medal, and your name in a book saying "so & so takes the cake with 32 disorders, while living on the streets in a 3rd world country, knowing 17 bands before anyone else"
Who gives a flying fuck?
I've gotten in so many arguments with kids, when they claim to have heard a song before anyone, or who claim to have heard it before it became popular due to the radio, or because it was on some video game.
If you ever try to argue with me about any of these things.. FUCK YOUR SHIT!
I will find you and cut your dick off with a rusty chain.

Don't worry, you'll grow out of it.
Yet another 2-part rant.
Part 1
First thing I wanted to talk about is kids who stop liking things just because everyone else starts liking it.
For instance, I have spacers. I know countless kids who had them years before everyone else (or so they claim) and when everyone else starts stretching their ears, that person takes theirs out.
a) If you take them out just because everyone else starts doing it, and you're afraid of looking like a trend follower, than you obviously never liked it to begin with.
b) Who cares if someone thinks you jumped on the bandwagon? If you know that you did it before everyone else, then fuck everyone else. (figuratively) (not that doing it before everyone else makes you any cooler)
I know I did a rant almost exactly like this before, but I had to get it out
Part 2
...... I'll get back to it, My train of through derailed by sleep deprivation and is currently being repaired.

Degradation has lost it's meaning.
So lately, I've been hearing quite a few females tell me that various things are degrading.
All of which have to do with a female making a choice in life.
If you choose to do something that would otherwise be degrading, it is no longer degrading.
For instance, I was told that porn is degrading, due to the fact that it's women being paid to be filmed while having sex.
These women made a conscious decision to partake in such a lifestyle, be it to make money, to find pleasure, etc.
Yes, I know, some women who are forced to do these things aren't always as strong as the males forcing them to do it.
But that's merely my stance on the whole situation.
Enjoy.

Have we seriously come to this?
So I just found out that there are 2 flavors of potato chips that make me wonder how fucking obese people have become.
1. Hotdog flavored chips. Honestly, we already have hot dogs, do we need greasy chips made to taste like hot dogs? Have you ever heard someone say "I'm tired of hot dogs.... I wish they had potato chips that tasted like hod dogs" I'm pretty sure you haven't.
2. Baked potato flavored chips. What is the point of making potato chips that taste like another kind of potato? Aren't potato chips supposed to taste like something other than what they're made of? (aside from plain chips)

11 years? Is that all?
So there's a group on failbook (facebook) called "Move out of the way children I've been waiting 11 years to see Toy Story 3..."
I know I've ranted about young kids saying shit that older people say, and this is another one of those rants.
I find it funny how kids join groups like that, when most of them are mere children themselves.
Most of the kids who join that group are probably no older than 15.
Now, I'm sure there will be alot of people who actually have been waiting 11 years to see toy story 3, however, why do kids do/say stuff that typically adults say/do.
"ohai, look at me, I'm 14, when I was your age, I had to actually work for my money"
And I'm like.... when you were their age..... you were 13...
But aaaaaanywho, that's my rant.

What's the point?
What is with kids these days going on blogging sites, and copying page-long quotes, and attempting to pass it off as their own?
Or even if they don't try to pass it off as their own, what's the point of making a blog or something, where you simply insert a picture, copy & paste some huge quote, and call it a blog?
Aren't blogs supposed to be you expressing yourself, and your OWN opinions, or to let people know about what's happening in your life, rather than just insert some stupid fucking quote that you just happen to like, yet has NO relevance to your life at all?
That's just what was on my mind today.
Thanks for reading.

Just how selfish can people get?
If someone gives you something.... GIVES, not sells, and you have the audacity to complain about it, you don't fucking deserve to have it given to you.. or to have ANYTHING given to you, for that matter.
How selfish, greedy and unappreciative has North America become, that we can complain about every little fucking thing?
Not to overuse this example, but people in third world countries have NOTHING, and they're happier than we are.
Who the fuck do we think we are, that we can whine about every little problem that we come across, and we think we can just pop a pill and problems will go away?
I'm sorry but this pisses me right the fuck off.
How ignorant, selfish, immature, and downright ridiculous North America has become.
Fuck all of you greedy pricks.
To everyone else, Thank you for reading.

Is it considered arrogance?
If someone is worried about people talking about them behind their backs, is that just them being paranoid?
If you really think about it, that seems RIDICULOUSLY arrogant.
If you think people care about so much as to talk about you behind your back constantly, you have to be arrogant.
Don't get me wrong, I know there are people who know that certain people dislike them, but still, if you think people are always talking about you, that's sheer arrogance.
Am I right, or am I right?

Motion sensorship
I just saw a commercial for a motion sensing liquid hand soap dispenser.
The reason they made it is because a pump on a hand soap dispenser gathers germs.
Don't get me wrong, it makes sense, because people don't want to get germs on their hands.
But what doesn't make sense is that regardless of how many germs are on the pump, you're going to wash your hands.
You could have 23894720894728740 germs on your hands from touching the pump, but you're just going to kill them by washing them anyway.

I'm sorry for having an opinion. (2 part rant)
These days it seems that anyone who decides to have an opinion, and think for themselves.. or at least speak their mind, is hated on.
I’m VERY opinionated and outspoken.
I’ll say what is on my mind, I’ll tell people my opinions on things, regardless of whether or not that person wants to hear it.
The other day, someone made a statement that people in the military are heroes.
I disagreed, and that person started a HUGE argument due to the fact that I was ‘speaking ill’ of war “heroes”.
I don’t find ANYONE in the military to be a hero.
I will give them credit for risking their lives, in order to claim that they’re saving our country, however, that in no way makes them heroes.
People who goes overseas on peace missions are FAR more respectable than anyone who goes overseas to legally commit murder.
So this whole rant is about 2 things.
1. Military personnel being “heroes”
2. People being hated for having opinions.
Back to the topic about opinions.
Why is it that people get mad at other people who are willing to speak their mind, knowing full well that they may be hated greatly for it?
I have mad respect for those people, because I’m one of them.
What’s so wrong about looking at something, and being intelligent enough to form your own opinions?
What’s so wrong about telling people how you feel about something?
What’s so wrong about standing up for what you believe?
All of those questions can be answered with one word.
Nothing!
If you’re going to hate me for being opinionated, so be it.
If you’re going to ask me a question, and then bash my beliefs, don’t bother talking to me, because I can tell you now, I WILL share my beliefs, if you ask.

Politicians are like diapers. They both need changing regularly and for the same reason.
[DISCLAIMER!]
I'm sure I've done a rant about kids not being politically informed, but I'm going to do one again........ Deal with it!
I find it ridiculously illogical for kids these days to vote for a certain political party due to one thing they've heard that the party supports, or simply because they hear other people saying good things about a certain party.
It thoroughly pisses me off that countless amounts of votes from youth are going to waste.
Many of which go to waste because these kids vote for the green party, because they want marijuana to be legalized.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the legalization of marijuana, but that doesn't mean I'm going to vote for a party solely because they're going to try to get pot legalized.
(I don't even smoke pot by the way)
Why is it so hard for kids these days to do research into parties that will actually do something good.
I often hear kids complaining about how their town is so shitty, boring, etc.
Yet they go and throw away votes on a political party that will do absolutely NOTHING to change that, if they get into office.
But that is my rant.
I may add more to this later.
Enjoy.

What is intelligence, by definition?
To answer that question (the title of this rant) I shall provide you with a logical statement.
There are probably as many definitions of 'intelligence' as there are experts who study it.
Simply put, however, intelligence is the ability to learn from, learn about, understand and interact with one's environment.
Thusly, why do people define others intelligence by their level of education.
Or better yet, why do people let their level of education define their intelligence?
Because you didn't pass a grade means you weren't smart enough to actually DO the work?
I think not!
In any grade I've been in, I've understood the work (for the most part) but any time I've failed, it was simply because I didn't do the work.
That does not show a lack of intelligence, it shows a lack of work ethic.
I've heard countless stories (thus meaning I have no say in whether they're true or not) about the boss of a huge corporation, being far less knowledgeable than his/her employees, yet making double or more, that persons salary.
All because they have a higher education?
I refuse to let anyone define my knowledge and intelligence by my level of education.
That's my rant. Enjoy.

Does it really make a difference?
Ok, so there is a group on failbook called 'I heard that song before anyone else'
Or something along those lines.
The title in and of itself is arguable.
It is technically not possible to hear a song before anyone else
unless you bought the very first record, straight out of the recording studio.
And even then everyone in the recording studio has heard it, thus preventing you from being the very first person.
Second of all, what fucking difference does it make, honestly?
No one is going to say "oh you heard that song first, I'm sorry, I'll stop listening to it, because you fucking own it" or some shit like that.
I know I've done a rant about music before, but I had to rant about it again.
Why the fuck do people put so much effort into proving they heard a song/band first, or know more about music or genres than someone else.
What fucking difference does it make!?
I've said it before and I'll say it a thousand times.
Music is made to be enjoyed, don't fucking turn it into a competition!
That's my rant. Enjoy.

You're such a slut!
So the other day, I heard someone say "boys talk to girls to sleep with them. girls sleep with boys to talk to them"
This got me thinking.
How fucking ignorant and stereotypical are some girls these days?
Like honestly, some girls think they know everything about what guys want.... conversely, they think guys only want one thing.
Don't get me wrong, there is a good portion of guys that only want sex, which gives guys that aren't like that, a bad name.
So I can't be mad at just girls who make that statement.
However, I still can't get over how ridiculous some girls are.
Another thing, is girls who are like "why is it that guys can sleep with a bunch of girls and they get props, but if a girl sleeps with a couple guys, they're called sluts" That is true in a sense.
However, If any girl gets wind of a guy sleeping with a bunch of girls, that girl will talk to any girl who starts dating that guy, and essentially ruin that relationship, merely to save her friend.
Whether that guy has changed his ways or not, girls will talk.
Which is fine, it helps weed out the 'good' guys.
But I can't stand it when girls think it's sexist that that's how things are, when in reality, technically speaking, it's not like that at all.
that's my rant. enjoy.

I'm an amazing singer........ so long as I use auto-tune.
Have you ever noticed how overused auto-tune is?
And what pisses me off is the fact that bands/"artists" that use auto-tune, typically sell more records than bands/artists that can actually sing.
Now I may be the only one, but I would respect someone FAR more if they take the time to write lyrics and music, and then put in the effort to play the instrument, and then sing the song, and create an amazing piece of music, rather than hopping on a computer, making beats (often times just audio loops) that are already on a music program, and then use auto-tune to make their voices sound like a fucking robot.
Don't get me wrong, artists (rappers) who use auto-tune, do have to write lyrics (unless they do covers)
but at the same time... it's a lot easier to write songs about guns, and how much of a hardcore gangster you are, as opposed to writing lyrics about something meaningful.
And no, the part about the rappers was not meant to be stereotypical, although I am aware that it sounded so.
